
Dr. Evangelia Siahou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies from Panteion University.
She has extensive experience in higher education. Since 2016, she has also been teaching at the Open University of Cyprus, where she serves as a Course Coordinator in the MBA program. In 2019, she was honored with the Faculty Excellence Award by the University of Liverpool, where she has been teaching postgraduate courses in Human Resource Management since 2017.
Dr. Siahou has also taught at the Hellenic Open University (HOU) as an adjunct faculty member and at Hellenic American College, where she served as Director of General Education and Academic Affairs and Coordinator of the Undergraduate Business Administration programs.
Her primary research interests focus on Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management, and Innovation Management in organizations and enterprises. Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented research at various European and international academic conferences, including the European Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and British Academy of Management.
She received the Highly Commended Paper Award (2015) and the Outstanding Paper Award (2019) from the Emerald Literati Network.
Earlier in her career, she worked in the Strategic Planning Department of the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games and in the Human Resources Department of the CDE under the auspices of the European Commission in Brussels.
