Dr. Apostolos Papadopoulos is the Head of FCNC, with over 30 years of professional experience in providing business and financial consulting services to both private and public sector organizations. He is an economist and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bradford, UK.

He is a certified consultant (Class C) by the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, in the categories of “Economic Studies” (No. 3) and “Organization and Operational Research Studies” (No. 5).

Dr. Papadopoulos possesses extensive experience and specialization in corporate and project finance—particularly in Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), concessions, and mergers & acquisitions (M&As). He is also highly experienced in the design, development, and utilization of financial instruments, as well as in the preparation of specialized financial and economic studies.

He coordinates and supervises a large number of projects related to the design, development, and implementation of business plans, feasibility studies, debt restructuring strategies, and operational restructuring plans for both private enterprises and public institutions.

He also serves as an independent non-executive board member in major corporations and business groups. In addition, he has led consulting teams on strategic, operational, and performance improvement projects for large organizations.
