Lecturer at the Department of Planning and Regional Development of the University of Thessaly and a member of the Laboratory for Evaluation of Development Policies and Programs and the Development Policy.

He holds a Ph.D. Degree in Planning and Regional Development and has an extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level on topics related to development, competitiveness and regional policy. His main research interests include Local and Regional Development, Development Planning and Program Evaluation, EU Policies, Spatial Governance, Tourism Development, Urban Development and Sustainability.

He has participated in over 80 European and national (Greek) research projects and he has published several research articles in various journals, collective volumes and conference proceedings.
