In the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “European Regional Development Management” (ERDM), teaching is permanently supported by 12 faculty members (DEP) originating from the collaborating institutions, as well as by other categories of teaching staff in accordance with the provisions of Article 83 of Law 4957/2022. The courses will primarily be offered by faculty members of the Department of Planning and Regional Development at the University of Thessaly and the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Each collaborating institution contributes educationally and in research within its area of expertise. The instructors have extensive publication records and research output, reflected in the research programs in which they participate or lead, as well as in their international experience in teaching, conference participation, and research activities.

Paschalis Arvanitidis (MEng, MLE-RICS, PgC, PhD) is Professor of Institutional Economic Analysis and Director of the Laboratory of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning at the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly.
Anastasia Aspasia (Aspa) Gospodini is a Professor of Urban Planning and Design, Dipl. Architect, MSc, PhD from the Bartlett School, UCL.
Dimitris Kallioras is a Professor of Economics and Regional Development at the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly.
Dr. Ilias Karagiannis is a Professor of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. He is also the Co-Founder and Director of the Research Institute of International and Business Economics.
Economist and professor of Spatial Economics at the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly. He has published widely in the fields of urban and regional economics, development, structural change, integration and regional policy.
Christos Pitelis is Professor of the Economics of Markets and Firms and Director of the Laboratory for Strategy and International Competitiveness at the Department of Economics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
Sotiris Koukoulas currently serves as an Associate Professor of Remote Sensing, Spatial and Environmental Planning at the University of Thessaly.
Pantoleon Skayannis is an Emeritus Professor at the Department of Planning and Regional Development of the School of Engineering, University of Thessaly (UTH).
Dr. Aggeliki Anagnostou has been an elected Assistant Professor of “Macroeconomic Theory and Policy” at the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly, since 2016.
George Dotsis is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
Nikos Gavanás is an Assistant Professor of Transportation at the Department of Planning and Regional Development. He holds a PhD in Transportation Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

Dr. Evangelia Siahou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics.
Dr. Apostolos Papadopoulos is the Head of FCNC, with over 30 years of professional experience in providing business and financial consulting services to both private and public sector organizations.
